Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that induces skin remodeling by introducing a controlled injury into the skin, triggering a release of natural growth factors, new collagen and elastin resulting in younger looking skin. IS THERE AFTER CARE?
Immediately after a treatment, the skin can appear flushed like a light sunburn to a deeper pink with pinpoint bleeding for deeper treatments. Typically, your complexion will return to normal within 2-4 days. A skin care regimen will be provided to you, which includes hyaluronic acid sunscreen moisturizer wash, that is specifically formulated to complement the procedure. Directly after your treatment we recommend using only mineral based foundation. You may go back to your regular foundation, 5 days post treatment. You can resume your normal activities immediately afterwards with little to no impact to your daily life.
HOW MANY MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Typically a series of 3-6 microneedling treatments is recommended for best results. Treatments are usually spaced in 4 week intervals.
WILL THE MICRONEEDLING PROCEDURE HURT?
Prior to your treatment, a topical numbing agent will be applied for 45 minutes. Most people say they feel vibrations or minimal discomfort.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO SEE RESULTS FROM MY TREATMENT?
Most patients see results after the first microneedling treatment. It is most common to begin to see positive results as soon as 1-2 weeks after the first treatment.
